OUR TEAM

Alison Franks
Owner and Senior Recruiter

Alison founded GEM Resourcing 23 years ago to provide both clients and candidates with a recruiting experience that is both unique and effective. She developed her own recruiting process and methodology that puts the right people in the right positions and drives a 98% retention rate. Alison has built her business on strong, long-term relationships working with both candidates and clients throughout their career lifecycles.

Early in her career Alison did executive outplacement for senior-level employees whose positions had recently been eliminated. This early experience sparked her passion for recruiting, seeing successes for both the employers and the candidates. Alison held senior recruiting positions at both Fujitsu and Born Information Services where she successfully built teams across the organization at all levels, including those with high levels of technical expertise.

Alison attended the University of Phoenix and is currently enrolled in an exclusive Master’s Degree program through the Small Business Administration. This program, focused on emerging leaders, selected only 17 participants from over 2,000 applicants. In her free time, Alison spends time with her sons and husband and loves attending concerts.

Maureen Mone’
Vice President, Operations and Senior Recruiter

During her 20-year tenure at GEM Resourcing, Maureen has capitalized on her two passions: 1. Helping people find the right position and companies find the right talent and 2. Technology, finding the right solution and closely following the constant changes that drive the search for both software and human resources. As she has done throughout her career, Maureen is always aware of the changing technical landscape and the skills organizations need to effectively implement these changes.

Before joining the team at GEM Resourcing, Maureen spent 18 years at Amway working in distribution and the supply chain. At that point, few employees had an IT background and Maureen became a critical resource helping to fully automate the first Amway distribution center in Colorado. She also worked in IT consulting roles helping to implement JDEdwards systems and developing Y2K update processes.

Maureen attended Emily Griffith Technical College, earning certification in transportation management. In her free time Maureen spends time with her family and loves spending time with her daughters and grandsons.

Lisa brings a diverse background to her role at GEM Resourcing that helps her to be effective in her recruiting role. For 11 years she worked for the University of Phoenix in a variety of roles including Director of Finance. During that time, she frequently needed to restructure and build teams which gave her the foundation she uses in her current recruiting position.
