Alison Franks

Owner and Senior Recruiter

Alison began her recruiting career in the late 80's and has over 20 years experience recruiting for organizations of all sizes, a broad spectrum of positions, and on a local to international level. Her background includes recruiting for a software and professional services organization, a boutique consulting firm - where she built new lines of practice and opened five offices, and lastly at a former Big 8 organization where her claim to fame was being the top recruiter with the lowest cost per hire, highest volume and lowest turnover.

Alison has successfully supported businesses in a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, energy / utilities, consulting, outsourcing, services, healthcare, financial services, and software development. Based on her experience building successful teams, Alison has developed GEM Resourcing's proprietary recruiting methodology, which is followed for every placement project to ensure the quality of service and timely fulfillment.

Alison's high ethical standards and personal dedication to providing the best service to her clients and candidates is complemented by her incredible energy, passion and emphasis on creating a fun working environment for the GEM team. When she's not building her business you can find Alison playing with her kids, enjoying time with friends and family and living life to its fullest at a rock concert or two each year.

Maureen Moné

Senior Recruiter

Maureen contributes over 25 years of professional experience to GEM's team with a background in Logistics Management, Project Management, Systems Design, and Implementation. Maureen has successfully recruited functional and technical resources for GEM's diverse client base specializing in Finance & Accounting, ERP, and Energy/Utility.

Prior to joining GEM Resourcing, Maureen was a Sr. J.D. Edwards OneWorld (EnterpriseOne) Consultant / Project Manager for over six years. Maureen was responsible for strategic staffing requirements as well as interviewing all team members on numerous occasions. In one instance, Maureen successfully led and recruited a team of 10 J.D. Edwards (EnterpriseOne) developers to staff a complex development effort.

Maureen is very active in the community and helping others in her spare time. When she's not giving her all to GEM you can depend on her to lend a helping hand on whatever you need. And, on occasion, you will even find her drinking pineapple infused tequila shots at a local Mexican restaurant with her friends!

Carmen Lapham

Senior Recruiter

Carmen rounds out GEM's executive team with over 10 years of experience in the areas of corporate retention programs, product management, program management, direct marketing, call centers and customer relationship management. Throughout her career, Carmen has always had a propensity towards IT.

Carmen's broad understanding of different business needs and cultures comes from a career working for a vast array of companies in many different industries. She exemplifies GEM's dedication to customer service and ensures that our clients and candidates are given the royal treatment and are paired with companies where they can enjoy themselves and further their career.

Being a recruiter for GEM is the perfect arena for Carmen to leverage all of her past experiences to benefit the organization, as well as her candidates and clients. Her understanding of the recruiting process, our clients' and candidates' needs, and the role IT plays across numerous industries, enables her to specialize in working with GEM's technology clients and candidates - she truly is a geek at heart.

Originally from Michigan, Carmen moved to Denver in April 1997. She is a Michigan State University graduate and received her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University in May 2006.
